The Clink Prison Museum, located near London Bridge and very near the river, has a history stretching back to 1144 with links to the Gunpowder Plot, Babbington Plot and many other major historical events.

Set at the site of one of England’s oldest prisons on Clink Street, The Clink Prison Museum gives visitors the opportunity to delve into the world of prison life in centuries past. Get hands on with a range of original artifacts - including torture devices! - and hear the stories of the prison’s many inmates.
