Getting to Shakespeare’s Globe from the Crowne Plaza

Getting to Shakespeare’s globe is easy from the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  The Globe is on the London’s South Bank, on the opposite side of the Thames from the Crowne Plaza.  It takes just fifteen minutes to walk, just head to the Millennium Bridge, cross the Thames and follow the river along east.  Alternatively, if you fancy a boat trip, you can take the riverboat from Blackfriars Pier, on the north bank of the Thames and only a few minutes from the Crowne Plaza, to Bankside Pier on the south bank which is right next to the Globe.

If you’re coming from somewhere other than the hotel, it’s useful to note that the closest underground station is London Bridge where you can access the Jubilee and Northern lines.
